Where Amreé Began
Amreé didn’t begin as a business plan. It started as an idea shaped by people.
Jasleen Gandhi began by noting down names of women who inspired her individuals who reflected strength, independence, and individuality. Over time, those letters came together to form a single name: Amreé.
The butterfly, which became the brand’s symbol, represents that same sense of growth and change, something that evolves, yet remains personal.
From the beginning, the intention was clear: to create bags that feel considered in every way in how they’re designed, how they’re made, and how they fit into everyday life.
Thoughtful Materials and Responsible Choices
Sustainability at Amreé is approached as a gradual, considered process rather than a single claim. The focus is on making better choices at each stage from materials to packaging while keeping the product practical for everyday use.
The bags are made using vegan leather, selected for its durability and finish, along with packaging that is designed to be recyclable and reusable wherever possible. The idea is not just to reduce impact, but to create something that lasts and continues to feel relevant over time.
There is also a clear direction for the future, with ongoing efforts to improve materials and processes across the brand. Instead of rushing into broad promises, the approach remains steady building towards more responsible production step by step.
